Abstract

The objective of this research work was to analyze innovation and business resilience in the tourism sector of Rímac in the context of the COVID 19 pandemic, to achieve this objective the methodology of qualitative approach, inductive method, phenomenological design, whose The population was made up of 24 gastronomic entrepreneurs from Rímac and a sample of 10 entrepreneurs, the interview was used as a technique and a semi-structured question guide was used as an instrument. The research concludes that it can be verified that there is an association relationship between the process and organizational subcategories, because the companies were organized to comply with all biosafety protocols, as well as in service innovation, resulting in a final product. , which maintains a causal relationship with the aforementioned subcategories. In addition, there is a causal relationship caused by the knowledge subcategory towards the risk management produced by the Covid 19 pandemic towards the tourism sector and a contradictory relationship between the governance subcategory towards risk management, this is due to the fact that the Municipality of Rímac intervened little or nothing to support these companies, increasing the risk that they would close.
